Minister Briggs was one of the humblest men and spirit filled soloist I have ever known. While I was State Minister in Virginia I requested for him to sing often and was always blessed. Rev. Dr James Bradley

May the Lord answer you when you are in distress; may the name of the God of Jacob protect you. 2 May he send you help from the sanctuary and grant you support from Zion. 3 May he remember all your sacrifices and accept your burnt offerings.[2] 4 May he give you the desire of your heart and make all your plans succeed. 5 May we shout for joy over your victory and lift up our banners in the name of our God. May the Lord grant all your requests.

6 Now this I know: The Lord gives victory to his anointed. He answers him from his heavenly sanctuary with the victorious power of his right hand. 7 Some trust in chariots and some in horses, but we trust in the name of the Lord our God. 8 They are brought to their knees and fall, but we rise up and stand firm. 9 Lord, give victory to the king! Answer us when we call!

Our hearts were heavy to hear of Sam´s passing. Just alway the friendliest, kind person. We have you and Sherie in our thoughts and prayers. We were informed of Nathan´s unfortunate passing as well. You and Sam were wonderful parents to Nathan, there never is a reason to look back or regrets. There are no words to express what you and Sherie are going through. We ask that God watch over both of you and the grandkids to give you all strength to move forward in life. If you and Sherie need anything, please don´t hesitate to call. Robin 540-819-5600. Mrs. Briggs, my heart broke when I heard the news of your husband. Then to also hear about your son my heart is weighing pretty heavy right now as I know yours is as well. My heart goes out to you and your family through this difficult time of grieving. My family and I are always here if you need anything!! I love you and I will be keeping you in my thoughts and prayers. I can only imagine the heartache you are going through. You have been there for me since I was 15 years old so I already consider you as family. I am sorry I wasn't able to make it to the viewing but like I said I am here if you need anything.
