Sheila Ann Galligan

July 24, 1953 - October 7, 2025

Sheila Ann Galligan (Frame), 72, passed away peacefully on October 7, 2025, at The Good Samaritan Sheila S. Strauss Hospice House in Roanoke, Va. She was born July 24, 1953, in Beckley, W.Va., to David and Dahlia Mae Frame.

A 1971 graduate of Sophia High School, Sheila studied Elementary Education at Concord University and earned a Master's in Communications from West Virginia University. She devoted 32 years to teaching-22 years in West Virginia and Roanoke City Public Schools, and 10 years with Franklin County Public Schools at Glade Hill Elementary.

Sheila was first married to the late Frank Drobot and later to her loving husband, Frank Galligan, with whom she shared a wonderful life in Union Hall, Va.

She is survived by her husband, Frank; her father, David Frame; brothers, James and Mike Frame; and many nieces and nephews.

Cremation was handled by Roanoke Cremations Funeral Home. A celebration of life is being planned by her family for the coming months. Memorial contributions may be made to the UVA Health Emily Couric Clinical Cancer Center in Charlottesville, Va.
