Stephanie Spaulding Obituary
March 9, 1976 - January 25, 2021
Stephanie Johnston Spaulding passed away on Monday, January 25, 2021 at the age of 44 in her hometown of Roanoke, Va.
She was born to the late Stephen and Emily Johnston on March 9, 1976. After graduating from Cave Spring High School in 1994 with close to a 4.0 GPA, she went on to pursue and receive a double major in Psychology and Sociology at Virginia Tech as well as receive her Master's degree in Counseling.
Stephanie loved to travel, enjoyed good food and even more great wine. Anyone that knew her will attest to her amazing sense of humor and how loyal a friend she was. She loved movies, especially cheesy B grade 80's movies, and had a passion and true love for all animals... as long as they were cats.
Stephanie will be lovingly remembered by her twin brothers, Ben and Chris Johnston; her nephews, Drake and Cooper Johnston; her nieces, Kendyl and Carly Johnston; and her sisters-in-law, Kori and Amanda Johnston. She will also be fondly remembered by her aunts, Tracey Pirkey and Judy Johnston, her uncle, Rick Johnson and her cousins, Lindy Dalton, Hunter Johnson and Sunday Shepherd.
A private ceremony will be attended by immediate family and in lieu of flowers we ask that you make a donation to the Roanoke Valley SPCA online at https://rvspca.org//.
