Dear Pat,

Mrs. Lehmberg will be sadly missed. She was one of my favorite principals; I taught special education at Westend and loved her sense of humor and how well she both understood and got along with students and teachers alike. When my husband and I went to her house to tell her I was pregnant for the second time in less than a year, she laughed and said she already knew it...guess that was the nurse in her...

Sincerely, Lynn M. Thompson

Pat,

I am so sorry to hear about your mother. She was a wonderful person and principal. Working with her at Fairview was a true privilege.

She will be missed.
