Thomas Duncan Obituary

Thomas (Tommy Lee) Duncan

March 4, 1971 - September 22, 2025

Thomas (Tommy Lee) Duncan 54 of Salem, on September 22, 2025 has found eternal rest after a long illness.

He was born March 4, 1971, to his late parents, Buster Duncan and Jeannie Hylton in Radford, VA.

He was raised by his late maternal grandparents Archie and Gertha Hylton of Riner.

Tommy Lee was a gentle giant with sense of humor, a love of pizza, music, chess, drawing, practical jokes and 80's sitcoms. He found his greatest joy riding miles on his motorcycle with the wind in his face.

He is survived by his devoted wife of 17 years, Angela; daughters, Elizabeth and Sierra Duncan of Christiansburg; son, Christopher Duncan (Emily) of Salem and stepsons Brad Thompson (Abby) of Roanoke and Ryan Thompson of Beaufort, SC; lifelong friends, Mike Alderman of Christiansburg, Ronnie and Kim Toney of Giles, and several aunts, uncles, cousins and of course Jax and Gemma.

A tree planting ceremony will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, September 27, 2025 at Evergreen Memorial Park. The family encourages those in attendance to wear casual attire.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Judes Children Hospital.
