Thomas Nelson Page, 84, of Roanoke, Va., passed peacefully on January 20, 2026, surrounded by family. Known for his big voice, love of storytelling, and constant reminder that "family is everything," he leaves a lasting legacy of service, joy, and devotion to family.
A public viewing will be held Wednesday, January 28, 2026, from 1 until 5 p.m. at Hamlar-Curtis Funeral Home & Crematory. A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, January 29, 2026, at Ebenezer Baptist Church. Live Streaming will be available from the Hamlar-Curtis website. Click "View Live Streaming Here" at the top of the screen, then select "Facebook Live Stream - Roanoke". The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. A private interment will be in the Ebenezer Baptist Church Cemetery.
