To The Family:
I was very very saddened to hear of the passing of Rev Broady.
I became a very close friend of this family when I became a member of Ebenezer Missionary Baptist Church n Charleston, WV where his brother Rev Braxton Broady was my Pastor and a continued love for this family began. I was always excited when I knew they were coming to WV n our church had that pleasure often.especially for the Pastoral Anniversary which Rev Ulas was always the 11AM speaker. We spent a lot of good times together and I was always glad to be in his company along with Ms Delores. They would always treat me very very kind..as if I was a part of their family
I am going to miss him and know that each of you are in my daily thoughts and prayers.

I met Rev. Broady when he first came to Roanoke. Not a Minister then but a loving, kind hearted man who loved the Lord. Roanoke has lost a true man of the cloth. Delois my thoughts and prayers go out to you and your family. Just remember that the Lord will not put more on you that you cannot bear.

ROANOKE IS CERTAINLY A BLESSED CITY BECAUSE OF THE YEARS PASTOR SERVED IN THE AREA AND SO WERE OTHER COMMUNITIES IN VIRGINIA. WE HAVE LOST A TRUE SERVANT OF THE LORD BUT THERE IS QUITE A REUNION IN HEAVEN WITH FAMILY, FRIENDS, CHURCH RELATIONSHIPS AND RESIDENTS ALL OVER THE ROANOKE VALLEY. I KNOW HE IS ENJOYING HIS NEW HOME AND HIS ETERNAL FAMILY. REST IN PEACE DEAR PASTOR BROADY.

Rev. Broady was a very kind man and I will always remember his stories from Po Valley. I loved hearing about those days and how much he gave God all the credit when speaking about how things used to be. I will be forever grateful for all that he and Mrs. Broady did for me. May your hearts soon be filled with wonderful memories of joyful times together as you celebrate a life well-lived.

To the family of Deacon Doctor Broady
When I first met Rev was at the VA Medical Center he was Deacon Broady with black hair . Over these many years my friend became a Doctor with white hair. Over the years he always had a story to tell. Mrs. Broady, my old teacher, and family you know where he is. When you get to Heaven he won’t be hard to find for he will be telling a story to someone!
