William Victor Combs, 98, of Pearisburg, joined the heavenly choir on Wednesday, November 19, due to complications from pneumonia.
Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Monday, November 24, with visitation at 1 p.m. at Providence UMC in Pearisburg. Burial will follow at Memorial Gardens of the NRV in Blacksburg.
Donations may be made to Robert Sheffey Campmeeting, Fellowship of Christian Athletes or Providence UMC. All donations may be mailed to P.O. Box 1003, Blacksburg, VA 24063.

Victor was such a dear sweet man. I enjoyed singing with him in the Giles Community Singers group for several years. I remember him telling me once that he couldn’t remember the last time he had been mad about anything. What a wonderful attitude! My sympathy, Gail and Jimmy.
