William HANNAH Obituary
Bill retired on August 2, 2001, as Production Superintendent, after 38 years of service with Volvo Trucks North America, Dublin.
He is survived by his special friend and soul mate, Wanda C. Martin, of Radford; brother and sister-in-law, David and Joan Hannah, Calabash, N.C.; and many special friends and relatives.
Wanda would like to give special thanks to Douglas Simpkins, Jenny and Doug DeHart, the doctors and staff at Carilion Roanoke Memorial ICU units 6 and 10, and so many friends for their help, prayers and support. Bill will be sadly missed by friends, family and co-workers. Per his request, services will be private. In lieu of flowers, please make a contribution in Bill's memory to the charity of your choice.

I have good memories of Bill. As a little girl, I played croquet in his back yard. As a teenager, Bill and I always danced the night away at the sock hops. I only saw him once as an adult - at our high school reunion. I am so glad we had a chance to catch up and reminence. Peace be with you, Bill.

Bill was a constant in our lives for many years. We loved him always - on his good days and bad days and accepted him for the person he was. He was there for us and we were there for him. We will always miss him and hope he is finally at peace.

Hello Cousin Bill! I was so very saddended to hear that you had passed away. The last time I saw you was on a visit to Radford to visit Mom and Dad.
Since then they have both died, as well as my brother John. I know when you are in your final resting place you with your mom and dad, Ted and JB, they will probably be visiting with Dottie and Harold. A little golf for the guys and some bridge afterwards. Tell them all I sent my love. And surely you will be with our grandparents, Willie and Mable Martin, and Frank and Grace Martin! Same goes for them.
You will be missed by the many friends you have made over your 67 years.

I HAVE KNOWN BILL FOR A LONG TIME AND AM SORRY HE IS NO LONGER IN THIS WORLD BUT AM GLAD HE DIDN'T SUFFER ANY MORE. HE WAS A VERY COMPLEX PERSON; IN A GOOD WAY!

Sad to hear about Bill. We went to basic training together at Fort Knox in 1969 and served together in Army Reserve from 1968-1974.
