Winnie Hall Obituary

Winnie B. Hall, 96, of Roanoke, Va., passed away on Sunday, November 22, 2009. She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard C. Hall Jr.; four brothers, Jack Byrd, Arthur Byrd, Walter Byrd and Dallas Byrd; and two sisters, Goldie Oyler and Pearl Booth. She is survived by two sons and a daughter-in-law, Howard C. Hall and his very special friend, Lois Marie Young, and Lester E. Hall and Gay Hall; daughter, Alice Lebow; granddaughter, Stephanie Lebow; two grandsons, Christopher Hall and wife, Gigi Hall, and Ralph Emerson and wife, Becky Emerson; sister, Kate Sink; and brother, Elmer Byrd. Funeral services will be held 10 a.m. on Wednesday, November 25, 2009, at Oakey's North Chapel with the Rev. Gay Brown Hall officiating. The interment will follow in Cedar Lawn Memorial Park. The family will be receiving friends from 6 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, November 24, 2009, at Oakey's North Chapel, 540-362-1237.
