PAITIN RENEE FIELDS
WATHA — Paitin Renee Fields, 5, of Watha, passed away Thursday, Nov. 16, 2017, at New Hanover Regional Medical Center in Wilmington. She was born June 23, 2012, in Lumberton.
She was preceded in death by a sister, Lakota Renee Fields; her maternal grandfather, John W. Flowers; and her great-great-grandmother, Ruby E. Wilkins.
Paitin is survived by her parents, Lora Elizabeth Flowers and Robert A. Fields; a sister, Savannah Rose Fields; her maternal grandparents, Dale and Lisa Hunt; her paternal grandparents, Buddy and Jan Fields; her maternal great-grandmother, Rose Flowers; her maternal great-great-grandfather, David O. Wilkins; and several uncles, aunts, cousins and friends who loved her dearly.
A time of visitation will take place prior to the service on Saturday, Nov. 25, 2017, from noon to 2 p.m. at Floyd Mortuary & Crematory, Inc. and other times at the home of David Wilkins, 705 Belle St., in Lumberton.
Following the visitation, a funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. in the Chapel with the Rev. Al Thompson officiating. Burial will follow at New Hollywood Cemetery in Lumberton.
There will also be a memorial service held on Sunday, Nov. 26, 2017, at 2 p.m. at Wallace First Baptist Church in Wallace.

Paitin baby girl I hope you know your loved and will always be in hearts and memories. I was there couple days after your born. I wish we had more time with you but God only takes the best he needed you more than we did. Yes we are hurting now but we know your with God and safe and happy with a smile on your face. My son was in her class at Penderlea. He spoke of her often. I remember meeting her at a trunk or treat in Burgaw. She was a sweet and beautiful little girl. May peace and comfort be with the family. Y'all are in my thoughts and prayers.
