REGGIE LYN COPELAND
LUMBERTON — Reggie Lyn Copeland, 49, of Lumberton, passed away Monday, Oct. 30, 2017.
He was born July 8, 1968, in Robeson County, to Junior and Mary Frances Copeland. He graduated from Lumberton High School, where he served three years in JROTC. Upon graduation, he went on to serve three years in the National Guard.
He was preceded in death by his mother.
He is survived by his father, Junior Darrel Copeland of Lindside, W.Va.; his stepmother, Linda Copeland of Lumberton; his brother, Thuron Keith Copeland and wife Ruth of Lumberton; a niece, Kayla Priest and husband Jonathan; a nephew, Jordan Nance; a great-niece, Kayleigh Priest; and three stepbrothers, David McLamb and family, Albert McLamb and family, and Rodney McLamb and family, all of Lumberton.
The family will receive friends on Friday, Nov. 3, 2017, beginning at 4 p.m. at the home of Keith Copeland, 1410 McArthur St. in Lumberton.
A time of visitation will also take place prior to the service on Saturday, Nov. 4, 2017, from 10 to 11 a.m. at East Lumberton Church of God.
Following the visitation, a funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. with Dr. Bruce Brumfield, Rev. L.F. Hatchell, Woody Huggins and Rev. Tim Lewis officiating. Burial will follow at New Hollywood Cemetery.
