Sandra Lee
LARGO, Fla– Sandra Valas Lee, 66, of Largo, formerly of Lumberton, passed away on March 1, 2014, at her residence.
A graveside service will be held 2 p.m. Thursday at Meadowbrook Cemetery in Lumberton.
She was born in Mecklenburg County, N.C. on Oct. 29, 1947, to the late George and Juanita Sanders Valas. She previously worked in textiles for the Outer Banks Company.
Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Billie Lee.
Mrs. Lee is survived by her sons, Grady Lee and wife Cameron of Fayetteville, N.C., and James Tadlock of Pensacola; a daughter, Jamie Laux and husband Steven of Charlotte, N.C.; a brother, Jim Valas and wife Diane of Morehead City, N.C.; seven grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
The visitation will be from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at Floyd Mortuary & Crematory Inc., 809 E. Fifth St. in Lumberton.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 22718, Oklahoma City, Okla., 73123-1718.
