Maintained some phone contact with dear Peggy after my leaving St. Joseph's Hill, and then there were visits with her at Price Memorial/St. Andrew's Place until she retired. Oh, that smile! Oh, the funny remarks and observations from Peggy. Loved her dearly and it was so evident that she loved her family dearly, just as she cared so deeply for the nursing home residents where she worked. While not a direct care provider, Peggy often listened intently to and advocated for those residents. Truly a remarkable mom, grandparent, AND WOMAN. So many of us were so fortunate to know her.

Knowing Cathy makes me believe we knew Peggy. From the many family posts, it's obvious that the Circle of Love was around and generated from Peggy. May that Spirit comfort all of the family now and going forward. Peace be with all of you . . . Fondly, B & B

The weather is lovely today, if a bit too warm. You took all the cozy breeze with you, Aunt Peggy. We have a family of finches nesting in the office down the path to our house and they fly dramatically in bursts whenever we come and go. It may rain today, or it won't, there's no telling anymore—even though there isn't a single cloud in this Tallahassee, Florida sky.
Happy early 71st anniversary.
You're missed and loved beyond expression. I figured I owed you some local updates and the card I sent won't make it in time. I wish I'd called more and wrote more and worked less. Thank you for every single letter and card. I have them all and I treasure all of them. I'll miss your beautiful handwriting and every time I close my eyes I can hear your magnificent laugh.
We love you, Aunt Peggy.
