Donald Foerg Obituary
Donald R. Foerg, 76, of Rochester, passed at 1:23 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 28, 2023, at Lutheran Hospital of Fort Wayne.
Don was born on Aug. 4, 1947, in Logansport, to the late Donald and Wilmetta (Gregory) Foerg. He was a 1967 graduate of Winamac High School. Don married Sept. 5, 1996, Cindy Shively in Sandusky, Ohio. She passed on Sept. 29, 2022.
He worked for Walmart doing janitorial work as well as for Ad-Vance Magnetics both of Rochester. He was a member of the Eagles Lodge Aerie 852. Don enjoyed gambling at the Lodge and raising Boxers.
He is survived by his sister-in-law Dawn Kistler, of Plymouth, and close friends Terry and Renee Lett, of Rochester.
Don was preceded in death by his parents, wife Cindy, in-law Roy and Dolly Easterday, and brother-in-law Chuck Kistler.
Following his wishes no services will be held at this time. Don's remembrance place will be in the Rochester I.O.O.F. Cemetery.
The arrangements have been entrusted to Hartzler Funeral Home, 305 W. Rochester St., Akron.
