JESSIE SMITH

Jessie T. (Mrs. Carl D.) Smith finished her earthly pilgrimage on Friday, December 10, 2010. She has been promoted to the Church Triumphant and is now with her Lord. She is predeceased by her parents, Harmon E. and Minnie Wilkes Thompson; her brothers, Don and Felton Thompson; her sister, Pearl Musgrove; and her granddaughter, Amanda Louise Smith. She leaves behind to cherish her memory her husband of 63 years, Rev. Carl D. Smith; her sons, Carl Delmous Smith, Jr. and Dr. Harmon Andrew (Andy) Smith, all of Conyers; her granddaughter, Meghan Marie Smith; her grandson, Harmon Andrew Smith, Jr.; a niece, several nephews and a host of cousins. A service of the Celebration of the Resurrection will be held at Smyrna Presbyterian Church on Tuesday, December 14, 2010 at 2 p.m. Interment and graveside service will be in Pinecrest Cemetery in Vidalia, GA on Wednesday, December 15, 2010 at 11 a.m. Viewing and visitation will be at Scot Ward's Harry White Chapel on Monday, December 13, 2010 from 5 until 8 p.m. and at Hall Funeral Home in Vidalia, GA on Wednesday, December 15, 2010 from 9:30 until 10:30 a.m. Contributions may be made to Smyrna Presbyterian 3F Club, 2920 Highway 212, Conyers, GA 30094.
