My Uncle Chuck was a kind and gentle man. I loved his big bear hugs and the huge smile he had on his face every time I saw him. He loved the Lord and his family. My Uncle Chuck was the type of person we all strive to be. I have no doubt you are up in Heaven with the love of your life. You will be missed by many.

My Uncle Chuck had a great sense of humor and there was never a dull moment with him. He would make some of the silliest jokes that forced me to laugh or smile. He was such a great human being - so strong, bold, jovial, compassionate, humble, a pillar that supported our whole family!

Uncle Chuck loved socializing with people. He was a selfless man who touched so many lives. He was very attentive and would listen to everyone’s problems and offer solutions to them. Fortunately, he was remarkably intelligent and filled with wisdom. His family, siblings, colleagues and friends could always count on him.

Uncle Chuck lit up a room where ever he went and now he is with my beloved Aunt Francis, my mother, and my grandparents lighting up heaven with his beautiful smile and his contagious laugh. He is watching over us. He is letting us know that he is OK and that he is in heaven. He wants us to love each other and treat each other with respect.

Uncle Chuck always lead by example, and taught me numerous life lessons:

•Take care of, protect, and be the provider for your family, and always give them unconditional love;
•Show respect and courtesy to others;
•Trust in your instinct, as it usually gives you the right answer;
•Always strive to do your best, no matter what you are doing;
•Be honest and loyal to your friends and family;
•Don't ever be afraid to make mistakes, just make sure you always learn from them;
•Have an opinion, but make sure it is thought through so you don't sound like an idiot;
•Smile, find humor, and try to laugh often;
•Don't blame others. Accept the responsibilities and consequences of your actions;
•Respect nature and the planet, and admire what God has created;
•Be positive, supportive, and always give encouragement;
•Share with others who are less fortunate, and give without asking anything in return;
•Always arrive on time. That is an easy way to show courtesy and respect;
•Aim to do the right thing, and resist the temptation when you know it is wrong;
•Set a positive example so it may be imitated by others;

Many admired him because of his gentle manners and the way he delicately spoke about others. He was not one to raise his voice or speak negatively about anybody. He could be heard saying that he was grateful for his kids, for his life, for just about anything, and he really meant it.

I am appreciative for the time we spent together, and the laughter we shared. I look forward to the day we meet again. God Bless this gentle man and his gentle soul. Uncle Chuck, you will be missed but never forgotten.

My uncle was the most kind, considerate, generous, and inspirational man I know. He always had just great and honest advise. He loved the Lord, his family and friends. I spent growing up with him since the time I can remember. I spent every holiday and summer with him and his family. He would welcome me with a big hug and smile on his face. We had so many great memories at his home and cabin with other family members. He will truly me missed by all that knew him. He is now with Frances, my mother, grandfather and grandmother. Rest in peace my uncle.

Chuck was an outstanding Brother-in-Law and made me feel welcomed into the family from the first time I met him. His warmth, compassion and genuine friendship were impossible to overlook and I thank him for sharing these with me. I cannot thank Chuck enough for walking his baby sister Carolyn down the aisle at our wedding and helping to make our special day even more memorable. The hospitality and laughter whether at his backyard barbeques, or at his wonderful cabin, or having the opportunity to help him during a move will always be cherished memories. Chuck made our lives richer, and the World a better place. Chuck, you will be dearly missed but never far in our hearts.

Chuck was my guarding angel. He was always there capable and willing to help and knowing how to help. He was my brother, my best friend throughout my life. He was with me through the good times and the bad times. When I needed something he always gave. It was not only me, he gave to everyone. Everyone benefited by having Chuck around . One of the last things he said to me was "What can I do for you?". Chuck was the most influential person in my life, always will love. But not only me, he guided and helped everyone he could. I will miss him forever. I thank God he was my brother.

What an inspirational man! If I could only be half the person he was. I was truly blessed to to to call him brother.

He was strong in body, mind, faith, kindness, forgiveness, grace, honor, integrity, dignity, wit, and decency.

People and children gravitated to Chuck. The love and support he received from family and friends after he moved to Utah was amazing. He cherished his boxes and boxes of mail. Chuck loved everyone and they loved him. What a legacy!

Rest In Peace! I can only imagine the glorious reunion with those that have gone before.

My Uncle Chuck was a wonderful and kind person. He was the most giving person I know. My Mom, daughter (young at the time) Ciara and I were staying with Grandma Jesse for a spring visit and chuck would show up every morning and ask what we wanted to do. He was full of fun ideas. One day he drove us out to see the wild horses and I will always remember this marvelous time with him, my mom and daughter. We also greatly enjoyed visiting Reinhart moving and he helped Ciara drive some big machine. May he rest in peace.

I have never in my life known a stronger person, physically and mentally, than Chuck. To endure the setbacks he’s had to endure would be insurmountable for most people, yet he conquered them with the utmost grace and dignity. He was the epitome of a loving father, brother, son, and uncle. Even in the most difficult of days he would say he’s doing great, and it’s all good. We rejoice that he is at peace, finally home.

My brother Chuck was a profoundly good man and will be truly missed.

He had a heart of gold always giving people a second chance, sometimes a third or fourth chance. Even in his last days he routinely asked others “What can I do for you?” His ability to help others even before they recognized they needed help was amazing. He was such a giving, insightful, deeply thoughtful person. Anyone who was lucky enough to cross paths with him is a better person for it. He could always make you smile even when feeling down with his sense of humor and keen sense of timing. He always took care of others.

The world is a better place because of my brother Chuck. My heart goes out to those who share in our loss. I’ve been blessed to be able to call him my brother.

Lightine a candle for my brother Chuck. He was a gentle soul who loved life and his family. Always there to help and take care of you when needed.
Praying he is at peace with mom and dad and his two sisters who went before he did. He worked hard his entire life and not for himself for others.
He was very selfless and trusting even to a fault when it did not benefit him.
He will be dearly missed and know his love of neighbors and faith in the lord will sustain him. Love you Peggy

I always loved visiting uncle Chuck and aunt Francis, when I was younger, and was able to play with cousins that were close to mine and my sister's ages. They were always so welcoming, kind and loving toward me. I have so many fond memories of them, their house on Moran, and of Reinhart and Sons. I loved when we went to the cabin, where there was that old Scout and beautiful scenery. It seemed like we drove forever to get there! Uncle Chuck sold me his car, the black Volare. I think it was my second car that I ever bought. I thought I was so cool in it! I enjoyed learning how to play "Pitch" when he came down to live in Utah, these last couple of years. He had a great sense of humor and I really loved talking to him. It's only been in the recent years that I have gotten to spend much time with his youngest daughter, because of our age differences, and the miles between us. Uncle Chuck will be greatly missed, but I will forever be able to recall the sound of your laugh.
