Jesse Rose Obituary

Jesse Earl Rose Rocky Mount - Jesse "Earl" Rose, age 77, went to be with his Lord and Savior, Monday afternoon January 13, 2025, with his sons by his side.

Earl was born in Nash County on August 5, 1947 to David Franklin and Annie Braswell Rose. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of fifty-three years, Kay Rose; brothers, Marshall Rose (Doris), Herschel Rose (Carol), and Dennis Rose; sister Margaret Rose Eatman Tucker, and brothers-in-law, Ronnie Lewis and Bennett Lewis (Marjorie).

Earl is survived by his sons, John David Rose and Daniel Lee Rose (Melinda), grandchildren, Madison Rose, Caleb Brabble Rose (Caitlin), Carter Rose, Hannah Rose Webb (John), and Andrew Rose; three great-grandchildren, Julianne and Jamesyn Webb, and Emerson Teeter along with another great-granddaughter due in May 2025. He will also be remembered by his sister-in-law, Betty Rose Smith, brothers-in-law, Jimmy Lewis (Lennie), Johnny Lewis, and Pete Lewis (Lesa), many special nieces and nephews and a host of family friends and other extended relatives.

A service to celebrate and remember Earl's life will be held at 6:00pm on Thursday, January 16, 2025 at Memorial Baptist Church, 5399 Old Wilson Road, Rocky Mount, NC 27801. The family will receive friends prior to the service beginning at 5:00pm.

Floral tributes are welcome or memorial donations may be made to Memorial Baptist Church.
