Jessie Cameron Obituary
ROCKY MOUNT - Jessie Whitehead Cameron, 91, passed away peacefully on Thursday, September 12, 2024. She was born November 27, 1932, in Edgecombe County.
She is preceded in death by her parents, eight siblings: Albert Wiggins, Dorothy Adams, Kay Coleman, Calvin Wiggins, Richard Wiggins, James Whitehead, Frank Whitehead, and Oscar Whitehead. She leaves to cherish her memory her sister-in-law Novella Wiggins, several cousins, and a host of nieces and nephews.
The celebration of life will take place on Saturday, September 21, 2024, at Morning Star Missionary Baptist Church, 2280 Morning Star Church Road Battleboro, NC 27809. Viewing 10am, Service 11am. Flowers can be sent to H.D. Pope Funeral Home, 325 Nash Street Rocky Mount, NC 27804 by Friday, September 20, 2024.

I'll remember the "good ole days" when Aunt Jesse "Beatrice" & my Mama got together full of energy on weekends, sang songs, laughed, & had fun. They loved singing Aretha Franklin's songs & knew all lyrics. Her laugh & shared experiences will live on. Love you. RIP Aunt Beatrice.
