Karen Ohree Obituary
ROCKY MOUNT - Ms. Karen Blythe Ohree,63, of Rocky Mount, North Carolina died on January 10, 2019 at the Transitions Life Care Hospice Facility, Raleigh, NC.
A Visitation will be held for Ms. Ohree on Friday, January 18, 2019 from 5:00pm to 7:00pm at the Chapel of H.D. Pope Funeral Home. Funeral Services will take place on Saturday, January 19, 2019 at the Metropolitan Baptist Church beginning at 11:00am. The Interment will immediately follow the service in the Northeastern Cemetery. These professional services have been entrusted to H.D. Pope Funeral Home, 325 Nash St. Rocky Mount, NC.

Karen and I met in 1974, our Freshman year at Winston-Salem State University. She wore her beautiful smile practically all the time. She had the personality that drew people to her. She will be dearly missed. May she Rest In Peace and condolences to her family.

Karen was a long time friend who brought smiles, laughter and joy when I was around her. Had an opportunity to talk and pray with her before she went to be with JESUS.One of the things Karen will be remembered for is her love for teaching kids, and getting the next generation prepared for their future.
