Robert Bottoms Obituary
Bobby proudly served his country in the Army during Vietnam. His life was filled with happiness, love, and a strong spiritual devotion to his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Bobby was a strong Christian man, serving as a Deacon and Sunday School Teacher at Edgemont Baptist Church, where he was a longtime member. He enjoyed spending time outdoors and fishing. A loving and dedicated husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, and special friend, Jim Best, and many others. Bobby will be forever missed and never forgotten.
Bobby is survived by his wife of 48 years, Vivian Weaver Bottoms; his daughter, Robin Threatt and husband, Danny; his step-daughters, Faye Webb and Candy Ottarski and husband, Tony; his grandchildren, Phillip Webb, Jerrod Edwards, Jacob Edwards, Josh Brantley, Zack Brantley, Daniel Threatt, and Lizzie Threatt; his four great-grandchildren; his brothers, George Bottoms and Rodger Bottoms; and his sisters, Janice Holder, Brenda Mott and husband, David, and Wanda Carpenter.
A Graveside Service to celebrate Bobby's life will be held on Wednesday, February 15, 2023, at 2:00 PM at Pineview Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM prior to the service at Wheeler & Woodlief Funeral Home.
