Sue Casey Obituary

SCOTLAND NECK - Sue Crabtree Casey, 63, died Friday, March 2, 2007. A memorial service will be held at 7 p.m. on Sunday, March 4, 2007 at the Letchworth Funeral Home Chapel in Scotland Neck. The Rev. Aubrey Spear will be presiding. Sue was preceded in death by her parents, Johnny and Easter Crabtree; two nephews, Greg Hogg and Michael Crabtree; and a great-niece, Amber Jo Daniels. She is survived by her husband of 45 years, Jimme Wright "Jim" Casey, Jr.; daughter, Cathy Whitehurst and husband Marshall of Rocky Mount; son, Mike Casey and wife Tabitha of Scotland Neck; sisters, Peggy Hogg and husband Gerald of Breckenridge, CO and Nancy Nixon and husband Paul of Franklin, VA; brother, Randy Crabtree and wife Nancy Lee of Edenton; four grandchildren, Steven Neil Casey, Baileigh Nicole Casey, Marshall Whitehurst, III, and Jessica Lynn Whitehurst; and many special nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Nash Health Care Foundation, 2460 Curtis Ellis Drive, Rocky Mount, NC 27804 or to the Scotland Neck Volunteer Fire Department, P.O. Box 537, Scotland Neck, NC 27874. Internet condolences may be made at www.letchworthfuneralhome.com. Arrangements are being handled by Letchworth Funeral Home in Scotland Neck.
