Timothy Farmer Obituary
Dr. Farmer was born October 25, 1957, in St. Louis, MO, son of the late Ray Farmer and the late Violet Slatton Farmer.
Dr. Farmer graduated from Harding University in 1980, and then went on to obtain his Doctor of Medicine degree from Emory School of Medicine in 1987. Dr. Farmer worked as a traveling Hospitalist for many years. He performed with the Carolina Concert Choir, was involved with the Wildacres Writers' Workshop, and was a member of the Full Moon Bus Club.
Dr. Farmer is survived by his daughters, Katie Farmer, and Kellie Clark (Marcus); his son, Timothy Farmer; his sisters, Pam Willeford (Stephen), Cindy Sharp (Mark), Laura Garrett (David), and Tiffany Farmer; his brother, Tony Farmer; several nieces and nephews also survive.
In accordance with his wishes, Dr. Farmer will be cremated. The family will have a Celebration of Life Service at a later date.
Henderson & Sons Funeral Home, Oaknoll Chapel, makes this announcement for the family.

A good and brilliant man of many talents whose dry humor often went unnoticed because it was not meant for others to hear so much as to simply comment on the hilarity, absurdity, and irony of this world. It was a privilege to know him. Now he is home. My sincere condolences to his family.

Tim will be missed greatly at EveryBus week after next. I remember sitting and talking with him at many of the vw bus camping events. He was such an interesting person. Rest In Peace my friend.

Tim was a friend. We attended the same church previously where I had the privilege of acting in plays he both wrote and starred in. A great talent gone too soon. Much love to all his children, and condolences to the family.
