Zachary Sean Warren

2006 - 2024

Zachary Sean Warren, age 18, of Silver Creek, GA, passed away suddenly at his home on Saturday 28, 2024.

Zachary was born in Cartersville, GA, on April 1, 2006, son of Sandra and Phillip Warren. He attended Pepperell High School and was a part of Fame. Zachary graduated this past May with high honors and was currently attending Georgia Highlands as a Film Major. He was a host on podcasts for both PHS and GHC and also worked on the GHC Newspaper. Zachary loved acting and the whole process of film making. He was studying to have a career in Screenwriting, Directing, Filming and Acting.

Everyone who knew Zachary loved him and saw him as an "Old Soul." He loved everything vintage; dressing up, steam locomotives, antique cars, silent movies, and Buster Keaton, who was his favorite film maker and "The General" being his favorite film.

We are all going to miss Zachary greatly. He was a bright shining light that left us too soon. We wish he could have seen through his internal pain to see the love he had around him and had reached out to ask for help.

Survivors include his parents, Sandra and Phillip Warren; his Oma and Opa, Gerda and Larry Stegall; aunt, Brenda Stegall, sister and brother-in-law, Britney and B.J. Brock; niece and nephew, Addy and Rydge Brock; brother, Jason Warren; two nephews, Dylan and Colton Warren; aunt, Francis Rogers; cousins, Pam and Ronnie Howell, Cindy and Thom Fitzpatrick. He was preceded in death by his uncle Kevin Stegall, uncle Bobby Warren, Grandparents, Carol and Eugene Warren, uncle Larry Rogers and uncle Albert Hollis.

Funeral services will be held at 12pm on Monday, October 7, 2024, in the Chapel at Henderson & Sons Funeral Home, South Chapel, with Dr. Wayne Fain officiating. Interment will follow in Floyd Memory Gardens.

The family will receive friends from 10am until service time on Monday at Henderson & Sons Funeral Home, South Chapel.

We, as his family, are asking in lieu of flowers, please donate to a local organization that helps with Mental Health Support, Education and Resources. They are encouraging all of the schools in the area to allow them to help our children, so they know there is a way out of the darkness. It is not only "Okay to not be Okay," but you have to say something. Many who have this deep depression wear a mask and we need to let them know it is ok to remove the mask and ask for help.
