Aaron van Leeuwen Obituary

Aaron van Leeuwen, 60, of Gan Kavod, New Hartford, passed away, peacefully, at Wynn Hospital, following an illness.

Aaron was born on January 20, 1963, in Indianapolis, IN, the son of the late Lee M. Bailey van Leeuwen and the late Daniel van Leeuwen. He was a member of Gan Kavod at the Sitrin Health Care Center, where he made life long bonds.

He is survived by his mother, Lee Bailey Sides; siblings, David (Patti), Jason (Gwendolyn), Benjamin (Stephanie Wiebke), James Hanna, Anne Hanna-Dyson (Mark Dyson), Thomas Hanna and Kat Hanna (Ian Goldberg); and many nieces and nephews.

Aaron's Graveside Service was held in the House of Israel Cemetery, Wood Road, Town of Whitestown, where he was laid to rest next to his father, Daniel.

Contributions, in Aaron's memory, may be offered to Gan Kavod of the Sitrin Health Care Center at www.sitrin.com.

Aaron and his family's care are in the faith of Scott J. Pizer, Funeral Director for Bottini Funeral Home, 120 W. Embargo Street, Rome.
