Beverly A. Stagner

Beverly A. Stagner, 94, of Blossvale, passed away on Friday, September 13, 2024. She was born in Rome on February 15, 1930, a daughter of the late Herbert and Mary (Wolfrom) Prosser. On September 21, 1946, she was united in marriage to William "Buster" Stagner. He passed away April 4, 2007.

Beverly was a nurse's aide and worked at many various local hospitals before going to work for Oneida County as a home health aide. She was a member of the New London Lutheran Church.

Bev was a very "crafty" woman and crocheted and knitted afghans and baby blankets for family and friends. She enjoyed going to her camp on Fish Creek and spending time with family.

She is survived by two daughters, Gloria Hatzinger and Joanne Ringrose; eight grandchildren, Ginny Stewart (Robert), James "Jimmer" Hatzinger, Jr. (Marcia), William "Wink" Hatzinger, Stewart "Stuie" Hatzinger (Kim), William "Billy" Reed, Cindy Coleman (Cole), Craig Reed (Brandy), and Amy Jo Smith; thirty-one great-grandchildren and eleven great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her siblings, Francis Bortle, Herbert "Junie" Prosser, Ora "Ordie" Rubinski, Robert Prosser, Charles Prosser, Reynold Prosser, Florence "Tuddy" Manley, and Carol Widrig.

Beverly's family would like to give a very special thank you to Colleen Smith and Peggy for their wonderful care and compassion.

Family and friends are invited to call at Nunn and Harper Funeral Home, Inc., 9464 State Rt. 13, Camden NY 13316, on Tuesday, September 24th from 12-2:00 p.m. and a service will follow at 2:00 p.m. Interment will take place in McConnellsville Cemetery.
