Brianna M. Witchley

1997 - 2023

Brianna M. Witchley, age 26, passed away unexpectedly on October 17, 2023, from injuries sustained in a motor vehicle accident.

Brianna was born in Rome on April 12, 1997; a daughter of Betty Clark Willis and Michael Witchley. She graduated from Rome Free Academy in 2015 and worked at Mazzaferro's for several years.

Brianna loved camping, hiking, and fishing. She collected rocks, coins, crystals, and gemstones and made jewelry from them. She was a loving and caring person and had an infectious personality and could easily make friends with any one she met. She would also give blood regularly to help those in need.

Brianna is survived by her mother, Betty; sisters, Kayla Willis, Abigail (Skylar Gosier) Witchley, Erica Willis, and Ariona Decker; brothers, Korey Willis, Brandon Willis, Devon (Caitlin Gawarecki) Willis, and Tommy Willis; best friend and significant other, Christopher Lowe, and his mother who was like a second mom, Nikki Westcott; and nieces and nephews, Jayden, Domonick, Betty Sue, Penelope, Karson, Mike, Kalvin, and Tucker. She was predeceased by her father, Michael; nephew, Brandon; maternal great grandmother, Betty Davies; Christopher's grandfather, Wayne Ostrander, whom she helped take care towards the end of his life; and dog, Kingsley.

Relatives and friends may call at the Barry Funeral Home, 807 W. Chestnut Street, on Tuesday from 4 to 7 PM. Burial will be private.

In keeping Brianna's spirit alive, the family asks that you wear teal or bright colors to the viewing, and/or consider becoming an organ donor.
