David Kantor Obituary

TURIN - David J. Kantor, 49, of Turin, NY, passed away unexpectedly in a vehicular accident on Monday, May 12, 2025.

Born in Syracuse on June 27, 1975, David was the son of Edward (Barbara) Kantor of Camillus, NY, and Maureen A. Kantor of Lake Frederick, VA.

He is survived by his son Seth David and his mother Barbara Kantor Raulli (Chris) of New Hartford, NY, and his sisters Alison (Steve) Kenney of Marblehead, MA, and Kara (Scott) Lewis of Ashburn, VA. He was Uncle Dave to Kathryn and Sean Kenney and Jack and Nora Lewis.

David was a graduate of Christian Brothers Academy and SUNY Oswego. For many years, David was an avid snowmobiler, enjoying life to the fullest. He had a very successful 25-year career with Snap-On Tools, owning his own franchise and receiving multiple awards for sales and excellence. After retiring from Snap-On Tools, he founded Tug Hill Earth and Lawn, creating novel landscapes, hardscapes, and ponds. His work ethic was second to none, as was his ability to fix anything with moving parts. He was a great friend to many and a truly unforgettable person who will be missed greatly by his loved ones, friends, family and those who truly cared about him.

Services will be private and there will be no calling hours.

Those wishing to honor his memory, please do so to either to the Turin Fire Department, 4391-4399 North State Street, Turin, NY 13473 or the Turin Ridge Riders Snowmobile Club, 5187 Carpenter Road, Turin, NY 13473 or /turinridgeriders.com.
