Earl Gibbs Obituary
Earl was born June 19, 1941 in Utica, the son of the late Frank and June Pfeiffer Gibbs. He attended Whitesboro Schools and also served in the US Air Force. Earl married Daphne Williams on August 15, 1964 in England, a blessed union of 57 years until Daphne's passing in 2021.
Earl worked for Waterbury in Oriskany from 1965 to 1968 and then worked for Revere Copper & Brass until his retirement in 2003. Earl was a car enthusiast; collecting and building them as well as model trains. He was a member of the Tappet Twirlers Car Club, Westmoreland Volunteer Fire Department, UAW Auto workers, and also the Oriskany Post 1448 American Legion.
Earl is survived by his daughter Debra Gibbs, his son Kevin Gibbs and his girlfriend Lori Monaco, his grandson Giovanni Monaco Gibbs, and his brother and sister-in-law George & Linda Gibbs. He was predeceased by his wife Daphne, his parents, his grandson Christopher, and his sister Patricia Whitmore.
Calling hours will be held on Monday, January 9, 2023 from 4 to 6 pm at the Bottini Funeral Home, 120 W. Embargo Street, with a service following calling hours. Interment will be in Westmoreland Cemetery in the Spring.

Growing up as a friend and neighbor I have all sorts of memories of Earl. The bast is that he was a hell of a guy! I know if my dad was still with us he´d second that as he used to tell me how much he liked your dad too Kev! Much love to you all!
