Frances Hluska Obituary
Frances Hluska, 57, of Rome, passed away on Wednesday, July 3, 2024, at St. Joseph's Hospital, Syracuse.
She was born in Rome, NY, on November 1, 1966, daughter of the late Joseph and Evelyn Watkins Hluska. Frances was educated in Rome Schools and graduated from Rome Free Academy. She loved spending time with her family and her grandchildren were everything to her.
Surviving are three sons, Kevin (Jessica) Romleski, Kevin Knarr Jr. and Michael Hluska; four daughters; Ashlee Manna, Sharon Cusick, Sarah Knarr and Heather Brady; grandchildren, Oliver, Jazlyn, Joey, Reese, Logan, Keegan, Adisyn, Madalena, Asher and Maddilyn; her significant other, Kevin Knarr Sr; five sisters, Cathy, Mary, Liz, Helen and Bea; two brothers, Joseph and Thomas; as well as several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her parents, Joseph and Evelyn; brother, Bobby; and niece, Tarra.
Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, July 9, 2024 at 6:30 p.m. at the Nicholas J. Bush Funeral Home, Inc., 7751 Merrick Rd., Rome. Relatives and friends are invited to call from 4:30 p.m to 6:30 p.m. at the funeral home, prior to the service.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions, in Frances's name, may be made to St Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude’s Pl., Memphis, TN 38105-9959 or online at stjude.org/donate.
