Funeral services 10:30 a.m., Friday, at St. James Episcopal Church, 9 Williams St., Clinton. Burial in St. Paul's Episcopal Cemetery, Snowden Hill Road, Paris. Reception at St. James' Episcopal Church will follow.
Donations to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital at www.stjude.org.

Joan was my cousin who I got closer to as we got older. Family was important to her and I recall our conversations where she expressed her enjoyment spending time with her nieces and nephews. Dick & I were so sad to learn of Joanie´s too soon passing. I worked with her @ MVPC. She was an empathetic compassionate advocate for her clients. She will be missed.

So sorry for your loss. I met Joan while working at the local shelter. She was a very humble and sharing woman.
We became friends and had many conversations that enable me to develop skills that I used then and today.
