Joshua St. Louis Obituary
He was born on September 27, 2004 in New Hartford, New York a son of Jeffery L. And Marcia A. (Schwartz) St. Louis and was presently a senior attending the BOCES program at Vernon Verona Sherrill School.
Joshua was born with cerebral palsy but that did not stop him from enjoying animals, especially cats and dogs; walks, rides and RVing with his family acting as his Dad's copilot; watching movies, listening to music and attending concerts.
Surviving are his father and caregiver, Jeffery L. St. Louis of Vernon, four sisters, Michelle St. Louis (Ryan Steele) of Floyd, Susan (Joseph) Kouame of Rochester, Sharon St. Louis of Syracuse and Julia St. Louis of Rochester, nieces and nephews, Belle, Artemis, Asher, Ariel and Chloe, also many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Joshua was predeceased by his mother Marcia Ann St. Louis in 2004, a sister Emily Rose St. Louis in 2001; his maternal grandparents, Sigmund and Janet M. Schwartz, paternal grandparents, Joyce A. Macey and Leonard H. St. Louis and several other relatives.
Family and friends are invited to call on Friday, November 17, 2023 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. noon at the Malecki Funeral Home, 23 Front Street, Vernon, NY. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 12:30 p.m. at Spirit of Hope Holy Family Church, 4352 Peterboro Street, Vernon, NY. Burial will follow in St. Helena's Cemetery, 1776 Middle Road, Oneida, NY, 13421. Online condolences may be sent to maleckifuneralhome.com

I am saddened to hear of Joshua´s passing. I was fortunate to be one of the MOBOCES nurses who had the opportunity to assist ( if needed) his private duty nurses care for him throughout his school career.The school staff, along with Joshua´s private duty nurses, all provided loving and passionate care for him, which made him excel while in school! He will be greatly missed! Condolences to his family and friends.
