Joyce M. Griffiths

Joyce M. Griffiths, 90, of Taberg, passed away on Thursday, November 10, 2022 at Betsy Ross Nursing and Rehab Center in Rome. She was born in Clark Mills, NY, on December 1, 1931, a daughter of the late Alfred and Caroline (Stockbridge) LaGasse. On February 14, 1950, she was united in marriage to Claude Griffiths. He passed away on April 15, 2015.

Joyce was a member of the Lee Seniors and the New York Old Time Fiddler's Association.

Joyce is survived by a son, Claude Griffiths, Jr.(Darlene); a sister, and Carol Pfiefer (Richard); two brothers, Ronald LaGasse Sr. (Barbara) and William LaGasse (Vicki); two granddaughters, Amanda Bayette and Amanda Pensabene (Charlie); five great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a son, Jeffrey Griffiths; a granddaughter, Ayla; two sisters, Mary Joan Carey and Barbara Creswell; and three brothers, Gary, Gordon and Alfred Griffiths, Jr.

Graveside services will be held on Monday, November 21st at 1:00 p.m. at Evergreen Cemetery. There are no calling hours.
