Kimberly Gauthier Obituary

Kimberly Gauthier, 49, passed away on October 3rd, at Oneida Hospital following a battle with liver cancer.

Kim was born at Rome Hospital on January 19, 1975, to Gilbert and Donna Gauthier.

Anyone who had the opportunity to know Kim knew what an incredibly strong woman she was. She showed this time and time again throughout her life, most recently when, two years prior to her passing, she was diagnosed with and beat breast cancer. She was a warrior until the very end.

Kim loved to spend time with her friends and family and enjoyed the outdoors, whether that was fishing with her son or reading on the beach with her daughter. Kim was a beloved friend to many and a beautiful Momma Bear to her children, son Joshua Pitcher, daughter-in-law Makenzi, and daughter, Destiny Crossway.

Her family would like to give special thanks to Susan DePasquale and Jimmy and Maria Sasenbury, Oneida Hospital, and the staff at Bassett Medical Center in Cooperstown for their help in Kim's battle. As well as a thank you to everyone who has been a part of and helped in Kim's journey of life.

In lieu of services the family asks for donations to be made in her name to St. Jude's.

Funeral arrangements are entrusted to the Barry Funeral Home, 807 W. Chestnut Street.
