Kimberly Leogrande Obituary

1971 - 2025

Kimberly Allison (White) Leogrande, 53, of North Utica, passed into the arms of her loving God on August 4, 2025. She is somewhere over the rainbow and reunited with her beloved son, Emmett and her husband, John. She passed, knowing the love of her caring family and friends.

Kimberly was born on December 1, 1971 to Robert and Helen White, in New Hartford, NY. She received both her Bachelor's and Master's Degrees at SUNY Institute of Technology. Kimberly married John Leogrande on October 5, 2001. Kimberly grew up as a member of St. Francis DeSales Parish in Utica and attended UFA. She spent over 20 years working at MetLife as a Disability Case Worker.

She found joy in everything related to "The Wizard of Oz" and she was a proud volunteer at The Utica Zoo.

She loved camping and had a deep passion for music, always ensuring there was music playing in her home. She had an infectious smile, incredible story teller and a great sense of humor. The family gatherings at her house will be greatly missed. She was very hospitable and made sure everyone had everything they needed.

She is survived by her adoring son, John; father, Robert; brothers, Brian, of Utica and Eric (Stephanie), of Whitesboro; sister, Bridget (Anthony) Mazzola, of Utica; her devoted loving cat, Mason; and lifelong friend, Renee Arcuri. She is also survived by her nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her husband, John; mother, Helen; infant son, Emmett; and both sets of grandparents, Floyd and Ellen White and Bernard and Helen McKenney.
