Patricia T. Baker

Patricia Baker, 75, of Rome, NY, passed away on Tuesday, October 11, 2022, peacefully with her family at her side after a long illness. Patricia was a Reading and Math recovery teacher for the Camden Central School District (North Bay) for several years. Teaching was her passion and she continued long after she retired teaching her children and beloved grandchildren.

Patricia was predeceased by her husband Daniel Baker, and her sister Eileen Savanyu. Patricia is survived by her four children and their families, Andy, Cara (Andrew) White, Michael and Melissa; As well as her five beautiful grandchildren who she treasured dearly, Jordan, Sawyer, Hayden, Caleb and Madelyn; her brothers Steve Toole and Larry Toole, as well as several wonderful cousins, nieces and nephews.

Our family would like to thank the Rome Abraham House and Hospice for providing mom with outstanding care and dignity, we would also like to thank Nunn's Home Medical and staff for their compassion and care of Pat throughout her illness and Nunn and Harper Funeral Home for making a very difficult time easier to bear with their help and support providing Pat with a beautiful goodbye.

Family and friends are invited to call at Nunn and Harper Funeral Home, Inc., 9464 State Rt. 13, Camden NY, 13316, on Friday, October 14th, from 1-2:00 p.m. immediately followed by a service at 2:00 p.m. Interment will take place in Forest Lawn Cemetery.
