Tom's dad, Al will be missed. Growing up on Winthrop Lane with Tom - one of my best friends and his family was a great experience. I will miss Al's great sense of humor and his positive outlook at life. Great memories!

It was a real pleasure to visit with Allan and Helen several times during the past year. He was one of my dad's very best friends, and visited him faithfully during my dad's last months - never arriving empty handed but always with a gift of some sort. Allan and Bob Thayer spent hours helping me and my family sort through my dad's old car paraphernalia after he passed away in 2005. I don't know what we would have done without him! I am thankful to have been able to get more acquainted with him. He was a good man.

Al used to move the big stuff at my company in the 80s and although he was a lot older than all of us 20 somethings he could outwork all of us.. we always liked when he would come around coz he always had some funny story and crack us up... he even drove his antique cars over so we could see them once in a while...thru out my travels in the music biz I have seen alot of people moving things and any time people were complaining about stuff being too tough I would tell them about how Al, even 6 years from retirement, could show all them a thing or two..prayers and thoughts for Al and all his family.... Sincerest heartfelt condolences, Helen. Allen was a WONDERFUL guy. One of my fondest memories - NEVER saw him without a tie (always suspected he wore one to bed as well). My father considered Allen one of his best friends. I know they're both tinkering on some brass motorcar right now trying to figure out why the da_ _ thing won't stay running……..
