AMOS E. 'BUD' LARSON, 82 ROCKFORD - Amos E. "Bud" Larson, 82, of Rockford died at 4:10 a.m. Sunday, Feb. 17, in OSF Saint Anthony Med-ical Center. Born Oct. 25, 1925, in Rockford, the son of Amos W. and Anna (Anquist) Larson. He attended Rockford East High School and served in the U.S. Navy from 1942 to 1946 during World War II. Married Regina "Jean" Klein on Feb. 1, 1947, in Beloit, Wis.; she died Feb. 24, 1992. He worked for 40 years at Rockford Products Corp., where he retired in 1987 as shipping supervisor. He was a long time member of LLL Club, Navy Club and American Legion Robert Carlson Post 1207. Bud is survived by daughter, Diana (Richard) Trapp of Beaver Dam, Wis.; son, Edward "Butch" (Jean) Larson of Cherry Valley; grandchildren, Debbie (Mike) Sweeney, Rich (Jacki) Trapp, Deann (Pat) Petitgout, Stacey (T.J.) Semple and Brad (Sarah) Larson; great- grandchildren, Myranda Trapp, Michael Sweeney, Emma Petitgout, Blake Coram, Alex Semple and Larson, great-grandchild due in August. Also predeceased by parents; and sisters, Bernice Seger and Verna Karg. The family would like to thank Dr. Tillery and the staff of 3East and 4East at OSF Saint Anthony Medical Center. Service at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 21, in Olson Funeral and Cremation Services, Fred C. Olson Chapel, 1001 Second Ave., with the Rev. Dr. Timothy V. Olson officiating.
