Barbara Doyle Obituary
Barbara A. Doyle, 79, of Rockford, passed away Saturday, December 22, 2018. Born in Rockford on December 24, 1938 to parents, Francis and Olive P. (Peterson) Cork. She married Larry G. Doyle on July 13, 1957 in Rockford.
She was employed for 13 years at OSF St. Anthony as a switchboard operator.
Survivors include her children, Dawn (Todd Stuehler) Bryant, Teresa (Bob) Lapp, Mark Doyle; grandchildren, Michael Bryant, Amy Bryant, Danielle Lapp, Tiffini Boatman and Toni Dudley.
Barbara is predeceased by her parents, husband and sister, Sally Pastor.
Barbara's family would like to give special thanks to the staff of Hospice Care of America.
Funeral service 12 p.m., Friday, December 28, 2018, at Fitzgerald Funeral Home & Crematory, Mulford Chapel, 1860 S. Mulford Road, Rockford. Visitation 11 a.m. until time of service at the funeral home. Burial in Sunset Memorial Gardens, Machesney Park. Memorial donations may be given to the family. Dawn, Tresea and Mark Sorry to see that your mother has passed on. I always enjoyed seeing her and your Dad at the Doyle functions She was a real nice lady and will be missed by many. I really miss those times when we would get together and wish there were more under different circumstances. Sorry I wasn't at the funeral, but i just got back from Arizona and didn't look at the Obituaries till this morning and feel bad about that. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you.

Sorry to hear this sad news. Barb was such a nice lady. I saw her at family functions and she was a patient where I worked for a short time. She and I had some great conversations about family & life.
