Bette Anderson Obituary

BETTE A. ANDERSON BELOVED WIFE, MOTHER, GRANDMOTHER AND GREAT-GRANDMOTHER COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - Bette A. Anderson, passed away peacefully on April 20, 2013, in Colorado Springs, CO. She was born in Rockford, IL June 16, 1923, the only child of Edythe and Herbert Beckman Bette graduated from East High School in Rockford, IL in 1941. After high school she attended secretarial school and later married Sterling Anderson. Together they owned and operated The Spirit of '76 in Belvidere, IL. She is predeceased by her husband Sterling and daughter Mary Kay. She leaves behind her loving children Sharon Gorman of Morgantown, WV, Michael Anderson of Mechanicsburg, PA and Suzette Jacobs of Colorado Springs, CO and grandchildren Carrie, Mike, Sara, Kate, Zoe, Scott, Chad, Ashley and Kyle; as well as a host of great grandchildren and friends. Visitation will be April 25 from 2 to 4 p.m. at Swan Law Funeral Directors, 501 N. Cascade Ave., Colorado Springs, CO 80903. Services will follow at 4 p.m. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the National Federation for the Blind.

Suzette and Rick, our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. We know it is a difficult time for all of you. Your mom was certainly a wonderful woman. We are looking forward to seeing you in September.
