Blair Nystrom Obituary
Blair Steven Nystrom, age 49, of Rockford passed away Tuesday, October 25, 2016, surrounded by his loving partner and family after a long battle with cancer. Born in Rockford on November 25, 1966 to Blair Roland Nystrom & Connie (Swick) Ingraham. He attended East High School and Rock Valley College. Blair was a kitchen and bath designer, drafter and painter. Blair enjoyed skydiving, traveling, camping, water skiing, decorating and remodeling. He loved nature and animals. A beautiful soul that was well loved by many. He was very kind and caring to all. Blair is survived by partner, Bill Cellitti; mother, Connie Ingraham; sisters, Vickie (Roger) Webb, Linda Ferguson; uncle, Jack Swick; nephews, Chase Ripplinger and Staff Sergeant Logan Ripplinger USAF. He is predeceased by his father and grandparents.
Per Blair's wishes no formal services to be held. Cremation rites accorded. Christenson Funeral Home is assisting with arrangements. A special Thank You to Heartland Hospice and Molly Sawalisch CNA. www.rockfordfunerals.com

For the many years that we worked together, both at Home Depot and then at KDA, you always made me smile and laugh. I moved out of state and lost touch, but the love for you and Bill is still here. I'm going to miss you ♡

I'm so sorry to hear of Blair's passing. Bill, you must be devastated. I'll never forget how you both took care of Grandma the years before she passed. May God bless you and keep you near at this time.

Bill, we are so sorry to hear about Blair. Our heart goes out to you and his family. I fondly remember all the good times we all had together. Blair had a great sense of humor and he will be missed by many. Hugs from Steve and I.
