Cecilia Cannell Obituary
Cecilia L. Cannell, 97, of Loves Park passed away Wednesday, June 13, 2018, in Alpine Fireside Health Center. Born April 2, 1921, in Rock Island, the daughter of Cyrille and Augusta (Devlaeminck) Maes. Married Thomas "Tom" William Cannell in 1942, in Rockford. Charter member of St. Bridget Catholic Church. Survivors include son, Thomas (Sheri) Cannell; daughters, Mary Green and Debra Cannell; grandchildren, Diane (Kent) Hollinden, Denise Harmeyer, Jeff (Cheryl) Olsen, Karen (Kyle) Walterman, Charlotte (Steve) Semenchuk, Tricia Cannell and Thomas (Erin) Cannell; 16 great-grandchildren. Predeceased by her husband and sister, Alphonsine.
Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m. Monday, June 18, in St. Bridget Catholic Church, 600 Clifford Ave., Loves Park, with visitation from 9 to 10:15 a.m. Entombment in Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
