Charlotte Fowler Obituary
Charlotte C. Fowler, 86, died at 10:55 a.m., Saturday, Feb. 4, 2017, in SwedishAmerican Hospital. Born June 10, 1930, in Rockford, IL, daughter of Harold and Irene (Larson) Selgren. Graduate of East High School. Married Ronald Fowler in Rockford, IL on March 21, 1953. Formerly worked at Alpine Softener. Lifelong member of Temple Baptist Church. She was an avid gardener and her family was very important to her. Survivors include her husband, Ron of Rockford; son, Michael Fowler of Rockford; sister, Pauline (Charles) Wilhelmson of Rockford; nieces and nephews, Denise (Jay) Bielefeldt, Sara (Gary) Bunch, Lisa Wilhelmson, Jan Heivilin, Brian (Jan) Selgren, and Kim Selgren; several great-nieces and nephews and great-great-nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents; son, Doug Fowler; and brother, Harold Selgren Jr. Special thank you to the nurses and staff at Swedish American Hospital for the their kindness and care.
Memorial visitation from 9:30 to 11 a.m., Saturday, Feb. 11, 2017, in Temple Baptist Church, 3215 E. State St., Rockford, IL, with memorial service beginning at 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials to Temple Baptist Church. Arrangements by Sundberg Funeral Home, Ltd., 215 N.
