Donald Blake Obituary
Donald Lamar "Duck" Blake of Rockford departed this earthly life May 24, 2021. He was born November 8, 1964 in Rockford the son of Ruth Blake and Clarence Walker. Donald was last employed as a assembler by Tote Cart. He was a former member of Allen Chapel A.M.E. Church as a youth. He graduated from Auburn High School class of 1983 later to receive his Bachelor Degree in Business from Grambling State University.
Donald leaves to cherish many loving memories, his two sisters, Veronica (Roy) Davis and Twonnie Stephens; four brothers, Frederick Blake, Gregory (Patricia), Charles (Tammy), and Danny (Marsha) Allen; two aunts, Costella Sanders and Jessie (Pastor Norris) Flannigan a host of nieces, nephews other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his parents, sister, Donna Gibson; and three brothers, James, Kasper and Willis Blake.
Services will be held 1:00 p.m. Thursday June 3, 2021 at Greater Harvest Baptist Church 2622 19th Street. Burial in Cedar Bluff Cemetery. Visitation will be held 11:00 a.m. until the time of service.
