Eileen Goodrich Obituary

EILEEN E. GOODRICH, 86 MACHESNEY PARK - Eileen E. Goodrich, 86, of Machesney Park passed away Saturday, Jan. 21, 2012. Born in Edgar, Wis., daughter of William and Erma (Hoelz) Kundo. Married John J. Goodrich in 1945. Eileen was known as the "Cotton Candy Queen" since 1955, she spun cotton candy at Riverlane outdoor theater, Kiddieland, Winnebago County Fairs and special events for many years. Eileen was employed by Barber Colman for many years. She enjoyed antique collecting, dancing and spending time with her friends and family. She will be sadly missed. Survivors include her son, John Goodrich. Predeceased by her parents and husband. Special thanks to Chris Harris, cousin, Donna Dow, and Visiting Nurses Association. No services are planned at this time. Arrangements were by Cremation Society of Illinois, 6825 Weaver Road.

When you look "special lady" up in the dictionary, it says Eileen!! Being our neighbor several years ago we found out what a loving speccial lady Eileen was to everyone that she met. We have so many special memories. Thanks for being you!!
