Eugene T. Paulick 89, of Roscoe, IL passed away in his home on September, 25, 2017. He was born on Christmas Day of 1927 in Elmwood Park, IL. He graduated from Lydon High School and served in the U.S. Navy (1945-1947) where he earned an associates degree to work with computers. He enjoyed skiing, boating, fishing and spending time with his family and friends. Eugene was an avid Cubs and Bears fan. He also belonged to St. Peter's Church, South Beloit, IL. His family and Catholic faith were very important to him. Eugene is survived by those who cherished him: his loving wife of 56 years, Bridget Paulick; five children, Tom Paulick, Mary Ann (Mark) Romanelli, John (Kathy) Paulick, Paul Paulick and Joan (Steve) Schutz; his beloved grandchildren, Tori (Matt) Minton, Alexandra Romanelli, Sean Paulick, Robert Romanelli, Katrina Paulick, James Paulick, Christopher Paulick, and Teresa Schutz; his two great-grandchildren, Alex and Mason Minton. He is predeceased by his parents, Joseph and Marie Paulick and his sister, Florence (Dean) Reynolds. Eugene loved life and lived his life to the fullest. He will be greatly missed by everyone who knew and loved him.
Visitation will be from 5:00pm to 8:00pm Friday, September 29, in Honquest Family Funeral Home with Crematory, 11342 Main Street, Roscoe. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:00am on Saturday, September 30, 2017 in St. Peter Catholic Church, 620 Blackhawk Blvd., South Beloit, IL 61080 with Father Steven Sabo officiating.
