Fred Magnuson Obituary

FRED E. MAGNUSON, 75 GREENWOOD VILLAGE, CO - Departed from this world for heaven on September 14, 2015, after a long illness. Born February 4, 1940, in Rockford, IL, son of Harry and Jenevieve Magnuson. Survivors include wife Leta Gay (Ashley) Magnuson, son Chad (Kathy Farris Julian), sisters Shirley Anne (Fraser) Macdonald, Farmington Hills, MI, Sandra (James) Thompson, Rockford, many nieces, nephews, and his two little dogs Desi and Lucy. He was the adopted grandfather known as "Po Po" to Markayla Julian. Fred graduated from Rockford East High School in 1958, played basketball on East High's varsity team and received a business degree from University of Colorado at Denver. He proudly served three years in the U.S. Air Force. Fred was a prominent realtor in the greater Denver area with Re/Max and Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage. He touched many lives with his love for people. Fred loved the Lord and is now resting free from pain in His care. Private services will be held for the family on September 30, 2015 and burial will be at Fort Logan National Cemetery. Special memories can be made at: www.Forevermissed.com.
