JAMES G. WISOCKI, 74 ROCKFORD - James G. Wisocki, 74, of Rockford passed away Saturday, May 3, 2008, in Rockford Memorial Hospital. Born Sept. 25, 1933, in Rockford, son of George and Gunhild (Johnson) Wisocki. Jim was a veteran of the Korean Conflict. Worked for McClure Engineering. Jim held the swimming record at East high School. Survivors include sons, Jeff (Annii) and Jory of Texas and Jay of Rockford; their mother, Janis Wisocki of Texas; grandchildren, Jennifer, Dillon and Destin; great- grandson, Aidan; brothers, William (Dorothy) and Richard (Marilyn), all of Loves Park; sister, Jane (Lee) McVay of Loves Park. Predeceased by parents. Service at 3 p.m. Thursday, May 8, in Honquest Family Funeral Home with Crematory, Rockford Chapel, 4311 N. Mulford Road, with visitation from 1:30 p.m. to time of service; the Rev. Dr. William R. Kerr Sr. will officiate. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the family.
