JEAN Ann GAGLIANO-LAWRENCE, 81 ROCKFORD - Jean Ann Gagliano-Lawrence, 81, a lifelong resident of Rockford, died unexpectedly Saturday, Jan. 5, 2013, at OSF Saint Anthony Medical Center. Born Aug. 28, 1931, daughter of Kenneth and Ruth Mattoon. A 1949 graduate of East High School and a long time employee at the Canfield Clinic, working as a receptionist. Jean was an avid football and baseball fan who especially liked the Chicago Bears and the Cubs. If she wasn't at home watching the game, then you could most likely find her at the horse races cheering them on. Especially close to her heart was her beloved family; her face would light up any time they were near or on the phone. Her presence and her smile will be greatly missed by all. The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the staff at Heritage Woods for all their wonderful care and support. Survivors include children, Cindy (Mark)Lender of Pecatonica, David (Cris) Gagliano of Rockford, Cheri (James) Eddy of Tulsa, Okla., Dan (Stephanie) Gagliano of Austin, Texas, Carrie (Brian) Felley of Dallas, Carla Gagliano of Austin and Darin Gagliano of Belvidere; 14 grandchildren; and 22 great-grandchildren; sister, Joyce O'Neal of Paw Paw; one niece; and two nephews. She was predeceased by parents; husband, Thomas Lawrence in 2007; and twin brothers, James and Jack Mattoon. Funeral service at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 9, at Fitzgerald Funeral Home and Crematory, Mulford Chapel, 1860 S.
