June Fritz Obituary

JUNE E. FRITZ, 88 MONROE CENTER - June E. Fritz, 88, of Monroe Center, IL died Friday, April 25, 2015, at her daughter's home in Kings, IL. June was born April 12, 1927, in Rockford, IL to David and Violet (Jersild) Larson. She married Raymond E. Fritz on July 19, 1944, in Rockford. She was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church in Lindenwood. June is preceded in death by her husband, Raymond, on June 7, 2013; her parents; brother, Roy E. Larson; and great-granddaughter, Taylor Emily Probasco. June is survived by her 13 children, Dianne (Andrew) Wroble of Harpers Ferry, IA, Darlene Tasso of Magnolia Springs, AL, Rodney (Joanne) Fritz of Caledonia, IL, Randy (fiancée, Kathy Opengo) Fritz, of Rockford, IL, Donna (Dennis) Probasco of Rochelle, IL, Ricky (Anita) Fritz of Monroe Center, IL, Ronald (Christie) Fritz of Kansas City, MO, Richard (Terri) Fritz of Stillman Valley, IL, Robert (Gay) Fritz of Mahomet, IL, Rocky (Carol) Fritz of Amboy, IL, Deborah (Barry) Vradenburgh of Chattanooga, TN, Roger (Debra) Fritz of Rockford, IL and Raymond (Jill) Fritz Jr. of Andover, MN; sister, Lois Kollar of Foley, AL; 48 grandchildren; 63 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. All those with the good fortune to share life with June hold their own special memories, but one universal memory, is her smile and hugs, given freely and often. June Fritz loved children, watching them play and laugh, simply being themselves never failed to bring her smiles and laughter. She will be remembered a great deal by a great many as a kind, loving individual with a quiet and gentile caring for all. A special thank you to Northern Illinois Hospice for their loving and professional care. The visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m., Wednesday, April 29, 2015, at the Unger-Horner Funeral Home, 400 N. 6th St., Rochelle. Private services at Immanuel Lutheran Church. Burial will be at Monroe Center Cemetery. A memorial has been established to Immanuel Lutheran Church in Lindenwood. Visit www.ungerhorner.com to sign the online guestbook.

Dear Fritz family...Our sympathy to you with this great loss. June had such joy and love for others. She always made me feel special, somehow, when we did chat...and for years would send a Christmas letter so I could keep up some with the famiy. So thoughtful!! Loved her!!!
